- Served as Vice-President of the Germantown School Board, and two terms (1998-2004) devoted to delivering community ownership of school issues while finding value for the taxpayer dollar
- Works with youth as a part-time Menomonee Falls substitute teacher (going on 7th year) at: Thomas Jefferson Middle School, North Jr. High School and Menomonee Falls High School
- Promoted state Senator Alberta Darling’s positive 8th Senate district agenda as an intern
- Initiated Youth Future’s Lock-In, now in it’s 14th year, to promote drug and alcohol free fun for youth
